1. Introduction

Welcome to Drivenow Car Rental. These Terms govern your access to and use of our website and vehicle rental services. By using our website or completing a booking, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please do not use this site or proceed with the rental.

2. Definitions & License

Unless stated otherwise, “Drivenow Car Rental” (the “Company”) owns all intellectual property rights in content provided on this website. You’re granted a limited, non‑exclusive licence to view and access the materials for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

3. Restrictions

You are expressly prohibited from:

• Republishing, selling, sublicensing, or distributing website content.

• Using our website in any harmful or disruptive manner.

• Interfering with others’ access to our services.

4. Customer‑Generated Content

Any content (images, testimonials, comments, etc.) submitted by you grants Drivenow a non‑exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, sublicensable licence to use, modify, translate or distribute it. Please ensure the content is yours and does not infringe third parties’ rights. We reserve the right to remove any content without notice.

5. No Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided “as is.” We make no express warranties regarding availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from website use or car rental, including delays, inaccuracies, or breaches of service.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Drivenow Car Rental, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, including legal fees, rising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the website or service.

7. Severability & Amendments

If any provision in these Terms is found unlawful or unenforceable under Cyprus law, it will be struck out, and the remaining provisions will continue to be valid. We may revise or update these Terms at any time; the updated version becomes effective when posted. Please check regularly.

8. Driver Requirements & Use of the Vehicle

• You must be aged 21–75 and hold a valid category B driving license issued at least three years prior to rental.

• Drivers aged 21–24 and 76–75 may be subject to a daily young/senior driver surcharge.

• International licences not written in English must be accompanied by an International Driving Permit (IDP).

• The vehicle may only be driven by persons named in the rental agreement, used only for private, lawful purposes, and on paved public roads in Cyprus.

• Use for racing, towing, carrying hazardous materials, motor sport, or rental to third parties is strictly prohibited.

9. Rental Charges, Payment & Key Deposit

• The rental fee includes the agreed daily rate, optional extras (e.g. GPS, baby seat), insurance, local taxes, and any delivery or collection fees.

• A pre-authorisation will be held on your credit card as a security deposit.

• Late return, one-way rental without prior agreement, or excessive soiling may incur additional charges.

10. Fuel & Return Conditions

• Vehicles are provided with a full tank and must be returned full. Lost fuel will be charged per the current refill rate.

• If the car is excessively dirty or retains strong odour upon return, additional cleaning charges may apply.

• Renter must notify us of vehicle damage, theft, or mechanical issues promptly; failure to do so may void insurance coverage and result in full liability.

11. Insurance, Excess & Optional Waivers

• Standard insurance includes Third Party Liability, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with excess, and Theft Protection (TP).

• Reduced or zero excess (e.g. SCDW, Super CDW) may be purchased at additional cost per day.

• Insurance may exclude tyres, windscreens, undercarriage, roof, interior, or damage caused by misuse or violation of Terms.

12. Cross-Border Use & Usage Limitations

• Driving outside the Republic of Cyprus, or into Turkish-controlled areas, is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing. Insurance and CDW coverage will be invalid if violated.

13. No-Show, Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the agreed pick-up time may incur a no-show fee and forfeiture of any prepaid amount.

• Returning the vehicle before the agreed pickup time does not guarantee a refund unless arranged in writing.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any legal disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Cypriot courts, unless otherwise required by statutory law.
