Documents and requirements
- A driving licence held for at least a year — EU, UK and most non-EU licences are accepted directly; bring an International Driving Permit if yours isn’t in Latin script.
- Passport or ID card.
- A card in the driver’s name for the refundable security deposit.
- Minimum age is typically 21–23, with a small surcharge for drivers under 25 at most companies.

What to check before you leave the car park
Take a slow lap of the vehicle with your agent and photograph any existing marks before you sign — this protects you as much as it protects us. Confirm the fuel policy, insurance excess, and what happens if you’re planning to drive toward Akamas, where some of the unpaved tracks are excluded from standard cover on smaller cars.
